Rooted in the life’s work of Rick Garner, professional residential building designer, builder, and developer—our foundation is grounded in real-world experience, practical design, and a deep understanding of how homes are actually built and lived in.
For decades, Rick’s work shaped homes and communities across the United States and beyond—not from theory, but from firsthand knowledge of the field.
Today, that legacy continues.
Owned and operated by his daughter, Elizabeth Ashley Garner Drake, and her husband, Jason Drake, the firm represents both continuity and evolution in residential design.
Elizabeth brings a lifetime of experience, having grown up immersed in the business—on job sites and in the office—developing a natural understanding of residential design, client needs, and the building process from an early age.
Jason, a professional draftsman and commercial project manager, trained directly under Rick and worked alongside him for over 20 years on a wide range of residential and multi-family projects.
Together, they carry forward a standard of design rooted in experience, clarity, and purpose—while expanding to meet the demands of modern home building and multi-family development.
